Unknown Color Club

Hey everyone! I hope you have all had a good weekend...and, of course, Happy St. Patty's Day! I hope everyone wore green on their nails today! Green is my favorite color, so I love St. Patrick's Day since it gives me an excuse to wear a lot of green and not look ridiculous!

I have a very interesting post today. I have not only my first Color Club polish to show you, but I have also NO idea what it is! I found this polish in a nail salon during Christmas. It wasn't on any kind of display - it was just mixed in with a bunch of other polishes. I told them I wanted to buy it and they looked in the back and this was their only one. The problem - the label is gone from the bottom. I have searched all over the internet and have not found photos that look anything like it! So, if y'all happen to know what this polish is, please let me know!!!

This unknown is a red jelly polish with tons of holo glitter. It was pretty opaque in only two coats. Also, FYI you can see the holo glitter A LOT better in person. My camera had trouble picking it up. The polish is really awesome. The formula is perfect and it is super pretty! I just wish I knew what it was. :o(

What do y'all think??? I love this polish and I have got to figure out what it is!

Also, seeing the Google Reader is being discontinued, I just wanted to let y'all know that you can follow me via Bloglovin. Please make sure to follow! Not even half of my followers have joined on there and I don't want to lose you guys!!!

My First Cult Nails Polish

Hey everyone! Hope you all have a good week. My week was absolutely terrrrrrible. I am just so happy that it's over and I'm hoping to start fresh on Monday. The one highlight was that I got these bad boys in the mail last weekend. I finally gave in and ordered my first polish from Cult Nails and I am in L-O-V-E!

Up first is Disciplined. This polish is a sheer grey base and has a bluish/purple shimmer to it. It is pretty much amazing! It was definitely hard to capture the shimmer in these pictures, but it is easily visible in real life! I believe it took about four coats to reach full opacity, so this would also make a great layering polish!

The next polish I have for you is Seduction. Oh my gosh you guys, I just can't even put into words how much I love this polish. Seduction has a purple jelly base and is full of rainbow flakie goodness. I mean - just wow!!!

In the first set of photos I have Seduction worn four different ways. On my index finger, I have (I believe) four coats. On my middle finger I used a base coat of OPI Vant To Bite My Neck? with two coats of Seduction, on my ring finger I used Ulta Moody Blues for the base and two coats of Seduction and on my pinky I used a black base with two coats of Seduction. Which is your favorite?!

Okay, my next photos are of four coats of Seduction all by itself. It would be pretty much impossible to make this baby fully opaque.

So what do you think? I love Disciplined so much! Seduction is definitely one of my favorites of my collection! So beautiful! I love it by itself, but I definitely love it layered more! All I can say is that I am for sure buying more Cult Nails polish in the future!

P.S. You can now follow me on Instagram...so go do it!

Jindie Nails Spam!

Hey everyone! How was your week??? Mine was pretty good. I'm just happy today is Saturday! I finally got a chance to do A LOT of swatching today! My poor fingers feel like they're going to fall off! But it will all be worth it in the end when you see all of my posts this week. :o)

Today I have an awesome post of some Jindie Nails spam! I ordered a bunch of polishes over Christmas time and am just now catching up on swatching them. You may have seen some of them before, but they're beautiful so it won't hurt to see them one more time. ;o) Beware - this post is pic heavy!

First up is Water 4 Elephants. This is a grey based polish with some awesome blue and green holo glitter. This caught my eye at first because of the name. I looove Water For Elephants (book and movie) so I pretty much had to have it just for that reason! lol. I'm really glad I got it though, because it's super pretty! The following photos are two coats.

Next up is Strawberry Cupcake.  Obviously, I just want to eat this polish because of the name! This polish has the perfect pink base with pink, purple, white and blue hex glitter of all sizes! This polish is super fun and very unique IMO. The following photos are of two coats.

Next is Swoon. This is one of Jindie's most recent popular colors. Swoon has a light blue base with medium and small blue hex glitter along with those awesome neon green, yellow and orange hex glitters. Love it! The following photos are two coats.

Next in line was a nice surprise that Jen put in my package. This polish is called Live Out Loud. Live Out Loud has a white base and a ton of different colored glitter! I just loooove polishes with these creamy white bases! How did she know?! ;o) The following photos are two coats of Live Out Loud.

Finally, I have one of Jindie's most famous polishes....Candy Land!!! Yay! I wanted this polish SO badly and I can't believe it's taken me this long to wear it. Boooo to me. This polish also has a white base with a ton of neon hex glitter! I did have a little trouble with application on this one. I had a hard time getting all different colors of the neon hex glitter on my nails, but all it took was letting the bottle sit upside-down for about 30 minutes and then it was good to go! Totally worth it! The following photos are of three coats for full opacity.

Okay, I told you this post was awesome! I love all of these polishes and Jindie Nails is definitely one of my top indie brands! Can't wait to buy more polish in the future!

OPI Liquid Sand: Get Your Number

Hello all you polish lovers out there! Okay, so let me first start off my apologizing for being the worst blogger, ever. I can't believe it's been since the beginning of January since I have blogged. Things have just been crazy and time has been limited. Not to mention, at the beginning of January I broke off one of the nails on my swatching hand and have had the hardest time growing it back out! I've been waiting patiently, but couldn't take it anymore. So please ignore my stubby ring fingernail. :o(

I have an exciting post for y'all today (at least I think it is). I hope you haven't gotten too tired of seeing swatches of OPI's new Liquid Sand Collection, because I've got one for you today! Today I have photos of Get Your Number. This is a blue polish that dries matte with a sandy texture, but also has some amazing bling to it! The following photos are of two coats of Get Your Number.

The first two photos are of Get Your Number sans top coat.

These next photos are of two coats of Gelous and one coat of SH Insta Dri. All I have to say is HOLY CRAP!!!!! This polish is BEA-utiful with top coat!!!

Well, what do you think? Have you tried any of the Liquid Sand polishes yet? Overall, I'm not sure I am crazy about the texture. I think the idea is awesome, but I don't think I could wear it without top coat for more than a day. Either way, I can't wait to get my hands on the rest of the collection!

Butter London Knackered

Hey everyone! Wow, I can't believe it's been almost a month since I've blogged. I was out of town for vacation, then I moved and then I had to go back out of town on a business trip. It has been crazy! Well, I have to say I am happy to be back. I will still be a little slow with posting for a bit due to a broken nail on my swatching hand AND the track pad on my laptop going out. Looks like it's time to go get a mouse! Anywho, today I have a super fly polish for y'all!

Today's polish is Butter London Knackered. This polish is sooo beautiful and quite unique in my opinion. It is a very sheer polish with holo micro glitter that flashes mostly purple and green. Butter London describes it an an oyster color, which I think is pretty accurate! The following photos are of three coats of Knackered. Check it out!

Ah! I just love this polish! Well, I hope you all had a great holiday and I will be back to blogging on a regular basis very soon!
