Take My Poll!

Hey everyone! I just have a quick post for today. I have recently decided that I want to create my own nail polish line. I have been researching for quite a while now and finally ordered in some supplies today so I can get started! If all goes well, within a few weeks I should have my first polish for sale. What I want from you guys is to vote on what I should name my nail polish line. I am kind of having  a creativity block and am not sure which name I like best. So please vote and tell me what you think! Thanks!

Urban Decay Fbomb and Big Bang

Happy Black Friday!!! Who all went shopping today?! You know I did! What did you all get at the stores? If you went shopping, leave some comments below and let me know what you got (especially if you got any nail polish)!

I have my first Urban Decay polishes to show you today. I found these on ebay. They are a set of minis and I ended up getting them for $8, so it was a really good deal!

First up is Fbomb. This is a really classic red creme polish. It's kind of a darker red and it's really pretty! The formula was seriously perfect! The following photos are of two coats of Fbomb. The only problem I had with it is that it took a little bit to dry and when I put Seche Vite on top of it, the polish dragged a bit. Maybe it was my fault...I could have just been too anxious to slap on that top coat! The following photos are of two coats of Fbomb. Please enlarge these photos to see the color more accurately!

Next up is Big Bang. From what I've seen, this color is a re-release of a color Urban Decay released a while ago. Big Bang is a bright pink foil polish and it is super pretty! It's pretty much the perfect pink. The formula was a bit thick, but it's nothing a couple of drops of polish thinner can't take care of! The following photos are of one coat of Big Bang with Seche Vite top coat. Make sure to enlarge these photos too! Not sure why, but certain colors look different when I upload them into my blog. Boo.

Well, there you have it! Two awesome polishes. I am definitely looking forward t buying more Urban Decays in the future!

Orly Spellbound Picks

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!!! I hope you all are enjoying a relaxing day with family and friends and, of course, eating delicious food! I am going to try and make this post short and sweet for y'all! I hope you aren't too tired of Halloween polishes, because a couple of weeks ago I found two of the Orly Spellbound polishes on clearance at Ulta, so I snatched them up!

First up is Right Amount of Evil. This is an orange jelly polish with holo hex and bar glitter. The following photos are two coats of Right Kind of Evil with a Seche Vite top coat. I really like this, but I think next time I will try layering it!

The next polish I have for you is R.I.P. This polish is in a black jelly base and has orange hex glitter and small orange round glitter. The following photos are two coats of R.I.P. As you can see, the polish is easily opaque on its own. It's pretty much the perfect Halloween polish. The following photos are of two coats of R.I.P. with Seche Vite top coat.

What do y'all think of these? I definitely like them both and can't wait to try them layered next Halloween!

Zoya Charla

Happy Thanksgiving Eve everyone! How excited are you all to stuff your faces with turkey and pumpkin pie tomorrow?! I know I am! I am also very thankful to be at home in FL with my family! What are you all thankful for this Thanksgiving??? I can also say I am thankful for all of my wonderful followers and all of the fabulous polishes in my collection!

Tonight, I have another special post for you. I have a TON of untried polishes right now. Sound familiar??? Quite a few of them include Zoya polishes, so I planned to maybe do a Zoya spam post for y'all on Monday. Well, I got a new camera this week because my other one just wasn't cutting it anymore and I tried and it out and so far I really love it! I took all of these photos today with my new camera and the style of the photos are a little different than usual. I couldn't wait to post these because I wanted to see what y'all think of these photos compared to the other ones!

The following photos are of two coats of Zoya Charla with Seche Vite as the top coat. Charla is a shimmery aqua/green polish. It's definitely very mermaidy to me, which is great because I love that kind of color! The formula was good and I hardly had to do any clean up! Check out Charla! It's beautiful!

I'm still learning how to use this camera and will also hopefully be making a light box soon to improve things as well! I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving! I will try and blog while I'm on vaca, but if you don't see anything from me, I will definitely be back next Monday!

Jindie Nails Tried & True

It's Saturday! Wahoo! I'm telling you, I am SO happy it is the weekend. This has been one crazy week and I need time to relax! Sheesh! I hope you all had a good week. Is everyone looking forward to Thanksgiving??? I know I am! I can't wait to get my hands on some pumpkin pie! Yum!

Today, I have a really special post for you guys! A couple of weeks ago I order a few of the Christmas polishes from Jindie Nails. I ordered this polishes on November 2nd and between the days of the 1st and 3rd it seems Jen was overwhelmed with orders, so shipping took a little longer than usual. When my coveted polishes finally arrived, Jen had included an extra mini polish in the order as well as a 15% code for a future purchase. Now, I have to say - that is good customer service! As a first time customer, I didn't know what the usual shipping time frame really was, so I just waited patiently for their arrival. But Jen's customer service, along with her beautiful polishes, has really won me over and I will definitely be ordering from Jindie Nails again!

The polish I'm going to show you today is Tried & True. According to the letter in the shipment, this is a new polish that hasn't even hit the shop yet! Oh and BTW, it's gorgeous! How lucky Am I?! According to Jen's description, Tried & True is a white crelly polish with gunmetal, magenta, bright blue, silver, turquoise and deep purple hex glitter with some light pink dots included too! Check it out! The following photos are one 1 coat of Tried & True over 1 coat of Essie Marshmallow. You can definitely get Tried & Tried opaque on its own, but since I have the mini bottle I didn't want to waste any!

Honestly, Jen could not have chosen a better surprise polish to give me! I don't know why, but these white crelly polishes with all sorts of glitter in them are seriously one of my very favorite types of polish! I just can't get enough and this one is beautiful! If you are interested in buying any of Jen's polishes, you can go to her Etsy shop. The shop is on vaca mode right now, but it looks like it will be back up tomorrow at 5PM CST for a release of a new collection! Can't wait!

China Glaze Sun-Kissed

Hey fellow polish lovers! Hope you have all had a good weekend. I am totally not ready to go back to work tomorrow (as usual). I feel like I haven't slept in a week. I am soooooo tired. I would go to bed now, but I have to watch The Walking Dead tonight! It's the best show on all week IMO. Tonight I have another amaaaazing polish - China Glaze Sun-Kissed!

This polish is from the 2012 Summer Neon Collection. Unfortunately, I did not buy any of the other polishes in this collection. I found this was in the clearance section at Ulta, along with Freeze!, which I showed you yesterday. I can tell you that I am in love with this polish, so looking back, I wish I had purchased some more. I wore this for the first time for a Halloween Party, where I dressed like an 80's pop star and needless to say, it was perfect with my outfit! Feast your eyes on this beautiful high lighter yellow polish! Make sure to enlarge the photos, so you can see the true color!

Don't you just love it?! Luckily, I was on Beauty Joint and saw that they have the Summer Neons Collection for sale for $3.99 each. I am definitely going to be some of the other colors from this collection!

***Blogger Edit: I wrote this last week and I guess it didn't post! Stupid internet!

Sally Hansen Freeze!

Hey everyone! I hope you all have had a good weekend so far! My husband and I spent the first part of our day scouring used books stores for some goodies. We've pretty much been cleaning and watching football the rest of the day. Overall, it has been a good fairly lazy Saturday. Today I have a seriously awesome polish for you! A couple of weeks ago I found some awesome polishes on clearance at Ulta and I bought like 6 because I could not pass them up! This polish was one of them and it was the LAST one. How lucky am I?!

Today's polish is Sally Hansen Insta Dri Freeze! Okay, all I have to say it HOLY AWESOMENESS. Seriously. This polish was love at first brush stroke. It is such a beautiful shimmery blue and it GLOWS. I cannot believe I even found this last little bottle of goodness. I can safely say that this is my favorite blue polish in my collection!

Okay, wow. I can't stop staring at this mani right now! If you're looking for this polish, maybe you can get to Ulta just in time to find one hidden among the clearance section!

Hard Candy Beetle

Holla! Happy Hump Day! Only two more days until the weekend- thank goodness. I am so stressed out and tired this week. I can't wait to do absolutely nothing this weekend. Well, today I have an amaaazing polish for you. The best part about it is probably that you can buy it at Wal-Mart and it's cheap!

Today's polish is Hard Candy Beetle. This is a beautiful multichrome polish that flashes green, blue, pink, and orangey. The colors you see in this polish are really endless! This polish is also a dupe for Orly Space Cadet. So if you don't want to spend $10 on that you can buy Beetle for $5! The following photos are two coats of Beetle and Sally Hansen top coat.

Just looook at it! I am in love! I hope y'all enjoyed tonight's post! See ya later!

Hits MTV Collection Picks

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a good weekend. Ready for Monday yet??? Me either! Yuck! Well, today I have an extra awesome post for you. I have my two picks from the Hits Polish MTV Collection. I bought these on Llarowe a while back and have just now worn them. Oh my gosh you guys...I just wanted to kick myself for waiting so long when I put these babies on! They are gorgeous!

The first polish up is Pink Pop. This is a jelly polish with a mix of pink, silver and holo glitter in a clear base. This polish was love at first sight, but when I put it on - just wowza! The photos are of one coat of Pink Pop over Zoya Reagan. I added one coat of Gelous and a coat of Seche Vite to make it glassy smooth! P.S. Trust me that there are some large holo glitters in there. My camera did not want to pick it up!

Next I have Blue Jazz, which is a mix of blue, green and holo glitter in a blue jelly base. Oh man...I thought I loved Pink Pop...until I put this on! I just love jelly polishes with a tinted base, because it seems to give the polish so much depth! In the photos I have one coat of Blue Jazz over Essie Butler Please. I'm sure you are also wanting to see what this polish looks like sans a base polish. I actually have a couple polish comparisons to do with this polish, so you will see very soon!

Even with the base coat under this one, you can still see that jelly goodness! Like I said earlier, you can find these polishes at Llarowe. I got these a couple of months ago when they were on clearance. I scored these for $4 each and they are regularly $10! The only complaint I have about these is that I should have purchased back up bottles when they were on clearance!!! :o( What do you think??? Hope you all have a great Monday!!!

Sonoma Nail Art 2012 Collection Picks

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween! My night was pretty chill. I got my costume together for the Halloween party I'm going to tonight and just chilled at home and watched scary movies. Oh, I also threw together a makeshift cowgirl costume so I could get a $2 Chipotle burrito! Oh, the things I will do for a burrito. Tonight I have my final Halloween polishes to show you. These are my first Sonoma Nail Art polishes. I saw these on a couple of blogs the last few weeks and I just had to have them. Unfortunately, I waited so long to order them that I got them right before Halloween, so I only got to wear each of them for one day. Although, I have a feeling that next year these will be worn a lot because I love them!

First up is Here Lies Robert. This polish is a mix of silver, black and green glitter in a clear base. It is such a great combo of different types of glitter and I am in love with it! All of the swatches I have seen of this have been layered over a green polish, so I decided to change things up a bit. I layered two coats of Here Lies Robert over one coat of Sinful Colors Rain Storm. I really like the combo and I think the colors in HLR stood out well on RS. I topped it off with a coat of Gelous and then a coat of Seche Vite.

Next is Sincerest Pumpkin Patch. I love this polish too. I mean it just screams Halloween to me, which is why I chose to buy this one as well. This polish is a mix of orange and green glitter in a light green base. I did one coat of this over a coat of Kleancolor Military Green. I also used one coat of Gelous and one coat of Seche Vite for a shiny smooth look!

Basically, these polishes are fantastic and I can't wait to buy more! If you are interested in purchasing Sonoma Nail Art polish, you can check out the Etsy page and Facebook page. See y'all later!

***Blogger edit: I wrote this blog on Halloween night and meant to post the next day and forgot! Waaah!
